I bought these gloves at the end of the season. I’m back on the slope after a multi-year hiatus. I’m glad to be back but my hands sometimes screamed to be just a little (a lot!) warmer. These gloves answered the call and then some. I jumped back in as an instructor for the youngest of our skiers. I have enough dexterity to pick up the most tangled toddler while staying warm. This allows me to focus on what really matters — the kids, skiing and having fun. I don’t have to worry about a mid-day break indoors to warm my digits.
Shhhh, don’t say anything, but can you guess what will be my top gift during the December giving season?!?!
I have purchased both the heated mittens and the gloves. The mittens were great, but only lasted one ski season. Yet they cost much less (less than half) than the Seirus or Hestra heated gloves. The gloves are fine for cooler conditions, but not for very cold, like single digits (no pun intended). They would work well for winter biking but for cold days skiing, i would go with the mittens. Also the battery life may not last for a full day of skiing.
I like the idea of the gloves. They fit great but the battery life wasn’t great and when the battery goes down my fingers got really cold, more so then my regular gloves. It was a cold day 26° so I was hoping to get six hours of battery life and I only got maybe three hours and the setting was on medium.when it Was working my hands were nice and warm .
Loving my gloves - I got them at the end of the season, so I will skiing with them next year. So far they are great on walks.
I’m an EMT on my local volunteer fire department. When there is a fire, I go out not to fight the fire, but to be there in case of an injury. It can be a long cold wait in the New Hampshire winter! I had warm hands and no injuries and a saved building at the last call! Thanks!!
